Fondation Lazare is dedicated to bringing humanitarian aid to victims of war, disease, and natural disasters in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Gathering the surplus materials/supplies from more fortunate countries and using them to save lives in the Congo. Specifically supporting projects on behalf of women, children and the elderly by meeting their immediate needs and then providing the training and means for them to become self sufficient. Encouraging family values, promoting community responsibility and striving to provide a safe haven for the weak and innocent.

Active Project

Construction is currently under way of a new orphanage building near the Kinshasa airport to replace the one destroyed by flooding. The new building will be able to house 60-70 orphans when it is completed.
